Affinity
(Shanghai) Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (“Affinity”) was founded in Zhangjiang,
Shanghai in 2012. Dedicated to addressing the toxicity challenges of
conventional chemotherapy and targeted therapies while focusing on unmet
clinical needs in oncology, it is a China-rooted, globally oriented
biopharmaceutical enterprise independently developing first-in-class novel
anti-cancer drugs.
The
Company owns its globally pioneered, proprietary Tumor
Microenvironment-Activated (TMEA) technology platform, with strategic R&D
layout across two core therapeutic pillars: XDC and IO. Its full-spectrum
pipeline spans innovative chemotherapy through immunotherapy, establishing
distinctive proprietary technical moat.
Legubicin
(QHL-108), one of the Company’s core assets, is a globally first-in-class
TMEA-ALDC drug. It has completed a pivotal, double-blind, head-to-head Phase
II/III clinical trial for advanced soft tissue sarcoma. Compared with
conventional doxorubicin, Legubicin substantially reduces
cardiotoxicity and hematologic toxicity while significantly prolonging patient
survival, and its clinical development across multiple tumor types is steadily
advancing.
Driven
by its founding mission to resolve systemic adverse effects of conventional
chemotherapy and fill unmet clinical medical gaps, Affinity advances in-house
R&D alongside global business collaboration. It accelerates the translation
of innovative breakthroughs via product out-licensing and technology
partnerships. Going forward, Affinity is poised to transform traditional
treatment regimens and reshape the landscape of cancer therapy, bringing
groundbreaking original innovations to benefit oncology patients worldwide.
